Where are we located?
Procedural information
Gastroscopy – involves an internal examination of your oesophagus, stomach and the first part of your small intestine under sedation. It will require no solid foods for six hours prior to your procedure. This is a quick procedure, however as you have received sedation you will not be allowed to drive for 24 hours after your procedure.
Colonoscopy – involves an internal examination of your large intestine and the end of your small intestine. It will require 2 days dietary preparation with bowel preparation the day prior. The bowel preparation will have to be purchased at your nearby pharmacy. It is important to be strict with instructions, as failure to do so can result in a null result and repeat procedure! You will not be allowed to drive for 24 hours after your procedure.
All procedures are day procedures and a support person can pick you up after your procedure.
